If you are in Kenya, or better the East Africa side of the African continent then you have seen swarms of this migrating white butterflies. Well now that we got your attention, what do they really signify? Is it the end times? or could they be Signifying something worth waiting for?
We went on truth search mission and tis is what we found out:

OPTIMISTIS

Some Kenyans are over-reading the abundance of white butterflies (African Caper White, also known scientifically as Belenois aurota). They routinely emerge around January when the weather starts warming up. They only signify the advent of the hot season.

Presence of the white butterflies is essential in reproduction in plants. They signify in healthy ecosystem and help maintain balance in nature. Ensure that habitats remain protected for the survival of this species

The recent mass migration of white butterflies? Well there is a science behind it. This phenomenon, known as butterfly migration, is, unfortunately, a consequence of deforestation. Scientific evidence has established a direct link between biodiversity loss and reduced food productivity. Recognizing that effective climate solutions demand multifaceted approaches, adopting a systems thinking approach is crucial.

Contrary to general belief, white butterfly migration does indicate impending heavy rains as they are unable to survive under it. Their migration pattern seems to show them flying towards the arid and semi-arid areas. The real El Nino is still to come, prepare your farms.
