1) DCI officers arrest watchman in connection to Embakasi gas explosion as investigations begin as

Three people have so far died while over 222 injured after an explosion at a gas refilling company in Embakasi, Nairobi.

 2)EPRA says it had rejected application from operator to set up the LPG storage and filling plant for failing to meet stipulated safety distances.

The Dp is assessing the situation of the victims and the extent of damages done before giving a comprehensive statement to the media. 

 5) Embakasi gas blast survivors to receive Ksh5K each – Passaris, Speaking when she visited one of the hospitals where the victims are receiving medical attention, the lawmaker noted that the money will enable the victims to get essentials in this time of need.
